Sweater Season is Coming

Summer_50_1024x1024

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, the autumnal equinox brings the fall season to the Northern Hemisphere on September 22 at 10:29 P.M. EDT.

I know, I know…so what? Well, in simple terms, that means that all our friends have just 50 more days to find, unshrink and re-love their favorite wool garments in time for the fall season. I for one want to be ready for the Fall Classic at (hopefully!!) Nationals baseball park. So in the spirit of discouraging procrastination, we’re launching a 50 day countdown to the big day. Get pumped.

Why are we doing this? The summer has been a continuous series of Q&A from our fans. What types of fabric do we recommend for Unshrinkit? (answer: all types of wool…lambswool, cashmere, camel hair, you name it). What types of clothes should we want to unshrink the most? (answer: anything that makes your heart content) Sweaters, dresses, pants? Heck, one guy from Oregon emailed me asking if we could help unshrink his socks. I can only imagine that those socks were colored green and yellow to deserve such attention. The questions were general to very, very specific – and we loved them all. Ultimately, each additional person that walks away understanding that they CAN unshrink their clothes quickly, safely and effectively makes us smile. Keep the questions coming.

In the meantime, check out our Facebook page to countdown to the fall season with us. It’s going to be gorgeous in more ways than one with Unshrinkit.
